Strength training is not one size fits all and I do not coach that way. Every athlete I work with is treated as an individual (even in a group setting), and they receive a personalized program that will challenge them both physically and mentally. In that struggle is where we find our inner Dragon, and that's where we grow.
If you want to improve your physical and mental fitness through movement, you are an athlete, and strength training should be part of your routine. Strength training is proven to help boost muscle mass and bone density, aid in fat loss, and improve cognitive function. Data shows that people who strength train on a regular basis have experienced decreases in depression and increases in general mood and productivity. These are factors we can all benefit from and is why I believe strength training should be the foundation for all athletes.
The Dragon's Lair is for everyone. My favorite times as a strength coach are when I am in the gym working with a community member, a college athlete, or a high school athlete training alongside their parent. We are all athletes and strength training gives us the foundation to be our best self.
Your journey begins with a 30-minute conversation with me, either by Zoom or in person. This is your opportunity to share your goals, and we will explore how I can help you reach them. I will provide general information about my training philosophy and give you an idea of what to expect from our partnership.
We'll meet at my space in Woodstock, Ga; your space; or a gym or facility where you train. I'll guide you through a custom developed session ensuring you perform the movements safely and effectively.
The price for this initial session is $50. Additional in-person training sessions begin at $100 with packages available.
Once you're on your journey you can reach out with any questions or concerns, at no extra charge. In addition to in-person personal trainer workouts, I offer online coaching available for $75 per month through the True Coach app.
I began strength training as a teenager with dreams of playing football. As I moved into adulthood, I gave up football for a high level rugby career, but the constant was strength training. No matter what the activity, consistent strength training gave me a firm foundation to excel.
In 2014 my long rugby career came to a conclusion and my coaching career began to take off. As I coached players on the field, I discovered a passion for providing strength training support to athletes off the field.
What started as a side interest became an obsession. I took a job working at a gym and jumped at the opportunity to learn from experienced strength & conditioning coaches, continually picking their brains and learning from their experience. I began pouring over countless books about strength training, always eager to learn something new building a passion and curiosity that has remained with me to this day.
I took a break from competing to start a family and then in early 2024, the competitive bug bit me again and I signed up for my first strongman competition. The research and programming that went into the preparation for the contest help me realize I was ready to get back in the gym as a coach and help others find their way on their fitness journey.
In-person training sessions are 1-hour in length. Each session is a one-on-one block with me guiding you through a customized workout. These can happen at my personal training gym in Woodstock or your preferred training location.

Customized personal trainer workouts to complete on your own. This includes plans for those looking to train 3-5 times a week. I provide the programming through the TrueCoach app. Post your videos, questions or comments and receive feedback.
This is a great offering for experienced athletes who need a little guidance and are not able to meet on a regular basis.
